The gap in neoprene or non-woven flashing is not to scale. This detail is to reflect that a 6” flashing (neoprene or non-woven) is to wrap inside and outside corners, with 3” extending onto each adjacent plane*. In the event a curb is greater than 6”, there may be a gap. Where a curb height is greater than 6”, it is at the contractor’s discretion to either use a single, continuous section of neoprene or non-woven reinforcement fabric or have a separation as this detail reflects. *This 6” flashing reinforcement of inside and outside corners is in accordance with NRCA guidelines. Cants are generally not used in waterproofing applications. They are typical for roof membranes (single-ply, mod-bit, etc.). Fluid-applied waterproofing specs often include a non-woven (polyester or polyolefin) reinforcement fabric for pre-reinforcement of inside and outside corners. These fabrics far more easily accommodate sharp inside/outside corners than do 40 - 80+ mil single-ply and mod-bit roofing - hence the need for a cant to help “ease” the [roofing] membrane into that transition.

Thank you very much for your support, Aye. It depends on the type of paver - concrete or masonry. The CS-309 series and/or TIAH could work.. but in many cases a modeled look or uneven shine can happen due to porosity. Hello Lew, Yes, you can apply VOCOMP-20 on driveways. Weather application must meet the temperature range of 40º F (4º C) and above. Don't let the application freeze for 24 hours.

Eduardo Preciado we always use the stick that comes with and mix for about 10 mins always works out fine I have done a few of my pools mastics and they hold up fine
